For a lot of businesses, the phone is now the main workplace. Sales teams log visits from the field, delivery staff update orders on the road and customers expect to manage their accounts from an app. An enterprise mobile app has to be fast, secure, work with patchy connectivity and connect cleanly to the systems you already use.
Native or Cross-Platform?
This is usually the first question clients ask, and the honest answer is: it depends on what the app needs to do.
- Native (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android): best performance and full access to device features. Ideal for apps with heavy graphics, complex hardware integration or very demanding performance needs. Costs more because you maintain two codebases.
- Cross-platform (React Native or Flutter): one codebase for both platforms, faster development and lower maintenance cost. For most business apps — forms, dashboards, catalogues, tracking — the performance is excellent.
For the majority of enterprise use cases we recommend cross-platform, and drop into native code only for the specific features that need it.
Design for Real-World Conditions
Your field staff will not always have a strong signal. A good enterprise app works offline, stores changes locally and syncs automatically when the connection returns, handling conflicts gracefully. It also needs to perform well on budget Android devices, which make up a large part of the Indian market.
Security Is Non-Negotiable
Business apps carry sensitive data, so we build in security at every layer:
- Biometric login (fingerprint or face) and secure session handling
- Encryption of data stored on the device and in transit
- Role-based permissions so each user sees only what they need
- Remote logout and data wipe if a device is lost
Integration With Your Backend
A mobile app is only as useful as the data behind it. We build secure APIs that connect the app to your CRM, ERP, inventory or payment systems, so information flows in real time instead of being re-entered by hand.
"The best enterprise app is the one your team actually opens every morning without being told to."
Launch and Beyond
Getting through Apple App Store and Google Play review takes preparation: privacy policies, correct permission descriptions and good store listings. Some enterprise apps are distributed privately instead. After launch, we monitor crashes and performance, keep up with new OS versions and ship regular improvements based on user feedback.
